    To close without having to suspend first, you can hold the power button for a bit. A menu with "Software closed" and the option to return to home menu or power off should appear.

    @Another World - Generally if people use the mkv container, the subtitles should be softsubs. You could check the details of the mkv using MediaInfo, it displays details of what tracks are included and how they were encoded.

    I'm referring to the version at http://filetrip.net/f11531-NesDS-for-DStwo-1-0.html, which even refers to itself as an older version. I guess I'll try and find and test a newer version once my DSTwo arrives from ShopTemp.
