Hacking UNIVERSAL FW or KERNAL for r4 cards?

i want to make this clear so i can get help...im sorry everyone so i have this card and it says it will support 3ds v3.0 http://www.r4sdhc.com/r4tsdhc1.asp i format...load the kernal...then put it in my old dsi v1.3 ....it starts up fine. i see "loading" then it loads the card....then i go...- DollyPlurtastic

the website says it supports it and even has a update kernal for it , but it just wont let me update it it says something about downloading corresponding firmware but it doesnt have any for download only kernals ...so i downlaod the kernal and drag it to my SD card and it says just press update...- DollyPlurtastic

they both work fine on the DSXL and below but no 3ds 3.0 .. ..i have 2 cards andI ONLY NEED ONE to work 3ds...can u help with eaither? which ever is easier because im going crazy trying to figure this out the first card on the front of the card says r4i *3DS* Revolution for DS ... blue...- DollyPlurtastic
