Homebrew NXMP Nintendo Switch Media Player

I first copied all the files in the archives without overwriting the one I had and it did compile fine but the app wouldn't build wouldn't open any video as if the A button was not working. Then I copied the entire folders and overwrite the switchport directory and got linker error. I then...

Homebrew NXMP Nintendo Switch Media Player

Hi again! I've been trying to compile nxpm on my debian os just for fun but have an issue with sqlite3. I do have the libsqlit3-dev installed but when I hit make, I got the following error. couldn't find info on the github as to how to compile but I understand it's an ongoing project. I also...

Homebrew NXMP Nintendo Switch Media Player

I use a simple python command that use the port 8000 by default. python3 -m http.server I've opened another on port 80 with but same result. It doesn't display the file list with it does on pplay. Samba is not working as well. FTP / NFS / UPNP I haven't tested yet.

What init fails: 0(1) mean? Sdcard info Hekate

I can't speak for that. I'm just stating that it might be a hardware issue too. That why since hekate is great as bootloader because you can't mount the card from the switch without having to remove it everytime. It's up to you to try with another SD or keep using the old one. This is an old...

What init fails: 0(1) mean? Sdcard info Hekate

It could also be the sd card reader itself that is dying out. I've had a similar iasue ans replaced the sdcard reader of the switch. Hopefully it's just a bad sdcard but don't rule out hardware issue. My suggestion would be to test with a decent sd card and see if the issue persist. If it does...

You could TRY to replace just the NRO files and the core files and see if it works? All of that after you backup everything of course.

Homebrew Emulation Retroarch build by crazymac on latest atmosphere crash

I don't know what is so specific about the crazymac configuration but retroarch came a long way since it's initial build on switch. I would backup the original whole crazymac build on my hdd / or just rename it on the switch, copy the latest retroarch build on the sd card and test it. For me it...

Homebrew Emulation Retroarch build by crazymac on latest atmosphere crash

I'm not familiar with the crazymac lite build nor with SXOS. Can't you update to the official retroarch build? Currently v1.9.12 https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.9.12/nintendo/switch/libnx/RetroArch.7z

Hacking Question Why can't I run deepsea atmosphere on my switch

Just bare in mind that if you are update to atmosphere 1.0 instead of 0.2x you need to change fusee-secondary to package3

    Homebrew RELEASE nx-DungeonRush

So I've removed multiplayer and also as mentionned before you can edit the config.ini to change the player 1 name. No need for the /res folder anymore. I will enventually try to use the on screen keyboard to rename player 1 but I need to learn how to do that first :)

    Homebrew RELEASE nx-DungeonRush

You can edit the text.txt file in the /res folder with a text editor and change Line 5 , player 1 to your name. That will be change the name of player 1. The way the menu other texts are being rendered is by reading that text.text file. I won't just remove the multiplayer at the moment because...

Homebrew Question How would I recompile older homebrew with new LibNX

You need the source code and recompile it. The compiler might give some error, specially if the libraries used have been updated to newest firmware. If that is the case, you need to modify the code to matches with the new library code. If you want to keep running a homebrew that is not...
