The current version seems to have trouble detecting vWii's IOS 58. It works on my Wii and the XML is identical on both my disks.

20 million of us bought a Wii for Wii Sports only in 2006/2007. As cheap as they are now, yes. You should. There are countless other exergaming titles for Wii as well that make the purchase a no-brainer.

I'm honestly surprised it took this long. I thought there might have been some technical limitation preventing it, like IOS-based mass storage mounting being resource-intensive compared to the optical drive. But it was just anti-preservationists...

As stated earlier, it was done to combat cheaters. Whether it was any more effective than manual bans, I can't say. Really frustrating either way.
