    The European models will soon have more easily removed batteries, so that’ll be a manufacturing time marker. Suspect you already thought of that though.

    Misc ACNH Transfer Tool CFW Switch 1 to Switch 2

    It should be fine. As far as I know, the Island Transfer Tool (unlike regular save transfers) doesn’t require an Internet connection. If the ACNH save file is blatantly hacked and used online, it could get you a Nintendo Online ban. (I understand this is just for ACNH.)

    I wouldn’t think this would be the case, as you can play games with DLC without owning the DLC if another user has that DLC. My BOTW save had a master mode playthrough, but I didn’t pay for the DLC on Switch 2 when I transferred. I transferred back on Day 1, and no ban for either.

    Why go through the hassle of buying physical? I just bought the pirated games digitally, loaded them to the sysnand of the old switch, restored the save data taken from the emunand, and uploaded it to the cloud. Now they’re on the new switch, no issue.

    I just backed up saves using JKSV on Emunand, then booted into sysnand atmosphere and used JKSV to restore saves. Everything we know says that Nintendo either doesn’t know about or doesn’t ban for homebrew on Switch, so long as it’s not installed as an nsp on the main menu.
