Hey console repair hobbyists!
Has anybody out there come up with clever ways to test 3DS console family replacement parts before completely/nearly-completely installing them? Screens and digitizers jump to the top of my mind; if these don't work well, they are SUCH a pain to back out.

I’m pretty interested as I’ve taken on a hobby of fixing up New 2DS XL consoles with broken top screens and it would be super cool to know how to make them look better when I use replacement hardware.
