    Thanks afif95, moved my router down the hallway a little and the wii UP towards it the and got a much better signal, was able to complete this through all steps. Still getting a DVD Read error 324, but I believe that this is due to using a DVD+R, will go out and buy some Verbatim DVD-R's...
