    I pulled one out of the package, tried to figure out which dang pad was pin 1, and then got distracted by other projects. Maybe I'll try it out this afternoon.

    Just yesterday I found out about Tiramisu and replaced my Haxchi with it, today I thought "I really wish I had a better Wii U menu, I wonder if anyone has made a replacement and here it is. Keeping an eye on this space, good things coming to this little console!

    That was me. I've already made the code changes (which really just amounted to setting a variable and recompiling) and ordered the dotstars but haven't received them yet. Or maybe I have, I'm on vacation and they could already be waiting at home.

    Yeah Cool beans. I'll do this later, once the dotstars I ordered on ebay arrive. No point in flashing it until I can actually test the feature I added.

    Huh. I got the same. I thought it the extra might be block size padding, but after running it through uf2conv.py it's still only 256. I haven't checked yet, but is the actual payload.h in there? Maybe he didn't include it in the code Nope, PL1 and PL2 are there. No idea what's up with that...

    Ah. I seem to have been reading the versioning scheme incorrectly. Yes, I'm aware that day/month/year makes more sense logically. Doesn't mean I can make my brain parse it correctly.

    Did you try looking in Fusee-Suite/Part_2_Version_6.130120? That would appear to be the source code you're looking for. It's where I got mine.

    So I just noticed that the RCMX86 has two unused pads, just sitting there asking to be used for a Dotstar. I have the source open in front of me, it looks like I just need to define a new board type in boards.h based on the existing RCMX86 entry, and define the pins for the Dotstar. Can anyone...

    Yes, but I'm saying that the chip is sitting on my desk, so I don't need the magnet to flash it the first time. And once I have it flashed, I can put it in flash mode without the magnet. So can I forego the magnet or is there some situation where I'd still need it?
