    I took a look at it. Seems straightforward. Thanks for your help. Now pretty much the final thing that bothers me is what do you guys use to cut a hole on the 3ds for the female pin connector? I'd prefer not to cut my 3DS because I have a limited edition one, but I guess I'll have to.

    Yeah I missed that also. I don't see the GND point though from his picture. If I ignore DAT 1, 2, and 3. I only see 3 points of solder.

    Okay, I understand now, but on the picture you linked for the second option it has only 4 wires and connectors on the jacks. I thought hundshamer's post said you gotta wire 6 points on his picture?

    Sorry, I still don't see how this works yet. I solder the numbers to the SD card and use the Anker to plug to the pc and run win32diskimager to get a dump. The thing I'm confused is if I solder wires to the SD card how do I connect it to the Anker? Won't it have the wires in the way to stick it...

    I went to emunand. Went to system settings to check the version and saw GW 9.9. Backed out by closing via the button on the menu. I'm guessing leaving that screen reverted back to my sysnand for some reason.

    I see thanks. I made a NAND dumb of the original when it was at 5.X. Is that fine or did I really need a 4.X backup? Also, how does win32diskimager allow me to create a new NAND dump for 9.9? I thought I wouldn't be able to create any dump because I don't have Gateway access. Also, if I connect...

    I have a Japanese 3DS. I just go in my Gateway 3ds. Downgraded to 4.4. Installed Emunand. Updated that Emunand. Everything was working correctly. I go into the eshop for the emunand, but I can't read Japanese so I thought it was just asking me to create my mii or Nintendo Network ID I hit ok...

    I have a Japanese 3DS on firmware 5.X. I read the new gateway exploit using OoT can work on all 3DS. Do I need to have a Japanese OoT because I only have a USA version of it. Also how do I apply the exploit? Is it buy the Gateway first then just follow the instructions to apply the exploit...

    Microsoft bans users that hacked their 360 when they go online. The system gets banned so they can't go online anymore.
