I'm using several different 3rd party controllers and also dongles on my Switch2, you don't have to worry ;)

Switch 2 Cartridges Are Too Slow For Some Games

That's just not true, with Xbox360 you could play every game without a harddrive directly from the disc.

    3rd party docks

You can use the cable/minidock from Jemdo, it's around 25€ on Amazon.

Switch 2 Cartridges Are Too Slow For Some Games

"Important: The Wii Shop is closed for new purchases. Previously purchased titles can still be re-downloaded. However, this option will also be discontinued at some point in the future. (Exact date TBD)" From Nintendo.com, so this is indeed a point because once Nintendo finally shuts down these...

Then try RDR2 or Forza Horizon 5, the difference is very noticeable.

Switch 2 Cartridges Are Too Slow For Some Games

Try Ark on an SSD and then on an fast PCIe nvme, there's a huge difference. Also keep in mind PC normally has more ram (32gb are cheap nowadays) so the system can keep way more data in ram.

Do not sleep on the Switch 2 Pro Controller.

Imo 8bitdo is the choice for Switch2 controller, yes they are seen as Switch1 Pro Controller but you can remap the chat button of you need it and I can live with the fact that you can't wake the console from sleep. Besides that, they've got hall effect sticks and very good d-pads, also they are...

Hardware Mig Switch on Switch 2

Acutally there are several reports of people (there is a know torrent from a russian forum, files got all certs included so these are "full rips") claiming their Switch 1 doesn't get banned (as long as you stay in airplane while playing) though they are using these pirated games and also do...

Hardware Be careful with third party cables. Friend was just banned for using a USB C to HDMI Cable. It was flashed with a custom FW to work with the Switch 2.

Yes I know, I paid 110€ for it on Amazon but my purchase argument was the streaming option, I'm using it on the go with my 11" tablet as a mobile monitor and I'm also using it on my Quest3. Also, it's including 100W charger. There is a cheaper version without streaming option though.

FYI: I'm using AVerMedia Elite Go as a travel dock for my Switch2 and it works like a charm with the latest firmware update.

Hardware Be careful with third party cables. Friend was just banned for using a USB C to HDMI Cable. It was flashed with a custom FW to work with the Switch 2.

I've had my Switch2 connected to my USB capture card a few time now, I also used it on my Quest3 with HDMI link and I'm not banned. Also, many content creators tried dozens of alternative docks and cables the first few days and no one got banned so this story really seems fishy to me...

Want to Transfer My SysCFW BOTW save to Switch 2.

This is not true, many of us including me transfered their emunand saves over to sysnand and uploaded them without any problem. And Nintendo never cared about save games for SP games like Zelda, they only got a problem when you use hacked savegames to cheat in online games, this happened with...

Hardware Mig Switch on Switch 2

Hm that's interessting, dunno if there is indeed a difference between US and EU. Also, what I'm thinking: Nintendo Switch is a kinda fragile handheld console with a display, so they don't even check for visible scratches, damage marks etc.? So I can return a Switch with a broken display (if im...

Hardware Mig Switch on Switch 2

Not in this special process with Nintendo but my firm does a lot of P2P business (=selling to resellers, not to endcustomer) and this is how it works. We sell products to sellers and they sell it to the customer, so the customer has a selling contract with the seller, not with US. If one of...
