Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

Yes, thank you for the followup... when you mentioned the .ini file, it pointed me in the right direction. You see, I have WiiFlow and its important files installed on my usb drive; however, the .ini file was configured to use solely the sd card to find and store themes and such. The WiiFlow...

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

I have already looked at his theme installation thread. I've attempted to reinstall the Shima theme as well as installing the SDTV version as well. Neither has been recognized. Again, the themes were working fine before I put all the new files in. And I recall something similar happening...

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

Sorry, I made a mistake here. Those pallettes were for RetroArch. Still, it is true that ever since I installed these packs, the themes are just not working. At first, it displayed the name "Rhapsodii Shima" on the settings even though it was using the default theme. But after I reloaded the...

Wiiflow brings me back to sys menu... sometimes.

This is a long shot, but are your Wiiflow configurations stored on an usb, or have you installed it solely on your SD card? Because changing the paths my WiiFlow was using to point to the actual folders fixed my problem. Even if that's not the case, it might be worth a try to look at the path...

WiiFlow Lite can't open games, crashes back to wii menu

I figured out the problem. Even though I had installed it onto my USB, WiiFlow was configured to use either SD paths, or some bizarre "usb8" thing... I changed it to the proper paths, and now it runs games as normal. I also had to manually change the rest of the sd-reliant settings through the...

Wiiflow brings me back to sys menu... sometimes.

I have to ask, what tutorial did you use? Because I'm having the same problem, and if it's caused by whatever was causing yours, then at least I could load some games with it, which would at least be progress...

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

This may be a noobish question, but when I added some of the pallettes from the 'Extras' download, the menu turned monochrome and simplistic, like the default version. I did replace the original default file with the one in the download, so that might be why, but it seems strange to me. Like, a...

WiiFlow Lite can't open games, crashes back to wii menu

I am sorry to inform that this did not help at all.

WiiFlow Lite can't open games, crashes back to wii menu

Okay, I will do that later. Even if it won't help with getting WiiFlow Lite to work, I would still like to have my Wii as up-to-date as possible. I am using a 1TB external hard drive. I've just now formatted it into FAT32, which fixed the problems with GC games, but not the Wii games.

WiiFlow Lite can't open games, crashes back to wii menu

What the title says. Here are the things I've tried so far: - Updated cIOS 248 up to 251 to the most recent d2x versions. - Changed the Nand Emulation configs to match the loader guide from r/WiiHacks. - Changed Startup Settings to force various IOSes (249, 250 and 251). - Changed the IOS...

Hacking Help with using ModMii to rehack my Wii

Had to manually switch the IOS in the menu. The config file didn't work. It was working IOS58 according to the menu, for some reason. But it's working now, thank god.

Hacking Help with using ModMii to rehack my Wii

WADs still didn't install, even though I used the proper config file. How do I make sure IOS236 has really been loaded? Is there a way to check?

Hacking Help with using ModMii to rehack my Wii

I found the config file, it was in the root ModMii folder along with IOS36, for some reason. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Hacking Help with using ModMii to rehack my Wii

Okay, so out of the 52 wads, 40 did not complete installation. And even though I have a wiiflow folder inside my apps folder, the forwarder channel didn't work either.

Hacking Help with using ModMii to rehack my Wii

Okay, so I installed IOS236. Now, here's the list of wads ModMii wants me to install: IOS11v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP]) IOS20v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP]) IOS30v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP]) IOS40v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP]) IOS50v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP-VP-DIP])...
