    Open it like you would any other compressed file (with winrar, 7zip, etc) and you should see the full ROM, then just choose where you want to extract it. :)

    The gateway will run any rom (except pokemon x/y and animal crossing NL iirc). The emuNAND is used for running 3ds retail cartridges online and accessing the 3DS eshop (downloading apps and such).     Then you need to do some googling. Here's some basics: Your sysNAND is the actual firmware (has to be 4.1-4.5 to use gateway) An emuNAND is like a virtual firmware that you update through the settings menu (look up a guide before attempting) YOU ONLY NEED EMUNAND FOR PLAYING RETAIL CARTS...

    As long as you download the pokebank app on your 3ds and have the retail cart I don't see why it would be a problem. ps - I dont even have pokemon x/y yet. Just an educated guess.

    All I know is that we'll need the latest emuNAND version to download the pokebank app on 3ds; also the poketransporter app thing to transfer gen V pokemon into the bank. I'm not sure about the login system, I haven't thought about that. I guess we'll have to wait and see and hope things work well.

    Yeah I heard about this as well. I heard that the save was just seen as corrupt, and not deleted. Well, If I were to ever transfer to a 3ds (I'd have a 3ds dedicated to carts) the pokebank would probably work for transferring pokemon; so I'm not too worried about that. I guess all there is...
