    Some information I hope might be helpful: it appears that the vWii can be returned to stock settings after softmodding, as this worked with my Basic Pack. I first cleared the vWii menu by deleting the Homebrew Channel, then I did a Delete all Content and Settings in the Wii U System Settings...

    Use MiiMaker to copy them to a Wiimote, then go from there. An often forgotten feature!

    The solution was: sell bricked Wii on eBay for £50; buy 3.2E Wii (console only) on eBay for £70; consider the £20 loss my punishment for not reading Waninkoko's README.txt file and clearing the required 150-250 blocks

    Everything went fine until the Waninkoko failed to update the "Shopping Channel". The Wii wouldn't restart, and now appears bricked Can anyone help? TIA.
