Gaming Dead Space: Extraction has no sound

Be sure to try setting the language to 'console default' under Region Options. I just tried that again with Neogamma R7 and it ran with sound.

Gaming Dead Space: Extraction has no sound

I had the same issue loading DS:E with Neogamma R7 (cIOS rev14). I was able to get it running with sound by setting the language in Neogamma to 'console default'. Then it gave me a disc read error about 5 minutes in, and I said fuck it and used a USB loader. I also read some posts where people...

    Gaming Muramasa black screen

Are you sure it's not the DVD? I'm 12hrs into Muramasa with the same setup (rev14, 4.1, Neogamma r7). I'd try another copy and (if possible) a USB loader to troubleshoot.

    Hacking Dead Space (on loader)

I just got it to run with sound for the first time by setting it to console default. I loaded it with Neogamma R7, cIOS 249 rev 14. Thanks! Of course...it gave me a disc read error a few minutes in but that could be a smudge on the DVD or something.

Even after bootmii is installed on boot2, it requires a 'bootmii' folder on an SD card in order to load. That is what the 'prepare SD card' option is for (if I remember correctly). You should be able to launch the hackmii installer again, and have it prepare your SD card.

Thanks, I followed your guide and it worked pretty well. I downgraded IOS15, then used TBR to restore the trucha bug to IOS36. I then installed rev14 with no errors. Then I restored IOS15. I then ran CIOSCorp 3.2 installer...which didn't complain about rev7 not being installed anymore...

Oh, I meant 3.2...typo. I'll try that. Thanks.

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

I'm not sure I did. I've never had any cIOS installed before I installed bootmii, made a backup, and updated. Since updating, I've ran the rev14 installer (claimed to have worked), and the rev7 installer (gave the error I posted before). From reading the guide you posted it looks like I need to...

Is there anything I need to do before installing rev7? Thanks edit: tried installing rev7 (IOS36-64-v1042.wad) through the cIOS rev7 installer and got an error: "Installing ticket...ERROR (ret = -2011)" Like I said I'm on 4.1u. Should I revert to my NAND backup?

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

Hey I'm working on getting my Wii to load backups, but I keep getting an error when I try to install CIOSCorp v3.2. I'm wondering if someone could help me figure out what step I'm missing. Here's what I have done so far... I've had HBC installed since 3.2. Last week, I installed bootmii as...
