    Same situation as you, only my 8 gig card is a Class 6. I also have the sleep mode problem. Pretty sure it's a hardware/firmware problem, and not related to the class of card, but who really knows.

    I have the exact same problem. Like you said, it just continually goes in and out of sleep mode when it's closed. You can pretty much chalk it up to a crappy design or something.

    Don't know if it was the Venom release (there was no stupid intro at least), but I found a version that claimed to be cracked. And so far, after playing for about an hour on an M3i, I haven't seen any freezing. So barring just random luck, I think it's been successfully cracked.
