Hey that worked! Thanks!
Got everything running smoothly after messing with display settings too. I turned off stuff we obviously don’t need like 60+ FPS and VSync.
Pretty sweet app. Thanks for your hard work!
So I messed around with this one with some interesting results.
When I put the .ipk3 file into the gzdoom folder and run GZdoom from the homebrew menu...the game runs flawlessly.
When I change the file from .ipk3 to .pk3 and put it in the pwad folder and run it as a file on DOOM 2, it has...
Yep. I've had AutoRCM enabled since I first ran Hekate. This system has never actually booted normally.
Well...hopefully someone can step up. If the Switch could emulate well, this would hands down be the ultimate modding device.
I just updated to 12.1.0 from 4.1.0 via downloading the firmware update from AIO updater and installed it using Daybreak. Did I burn any fuses?
Either way...so happy I updated. So much more functionality has been unlocked via homebrew.
This little thing is pretty fuckin' sick.
So I have a modded Switch at 4.10 official firmware.
Many of the cool features provided by homebrew require me to have a firmware version between 9.0.0 and 12.0.0
What is the risk in abandoning my 4.10 firmware?
I've been holding out on upgrading the FW because I want...
I found a fix for this.
In the re3.ini file change "NoIslandLoading = 1" value to 0 (NoIslandLoading = 0)
No more crashing...and weirdly I was expecting there to be a loading screen between the islands...but there wasn't.
Cheers lads. Have fun.
So I was working on a 100% playthrough on re3...I seem to have run into an issue.
The game crashes during Salvatore's "Last Requests" mission. It's the mission where you travel from Portland to Staunton Island via boat.
It crashes during the cutscene when you get to the island...unless you skip...
also on a related note, i should start treating my keyboard better, my friend saw my keyboard while visiting my house and he said "holy shit why is it this dirty do you like shove it up your ass right after you clean it or something"
