    I got it to work by updating to 3.7, deleting the old save, and using the open/close trick. I'm using a M3DSReal and a 4gb Sandisk.

    Pardon my asking, but what exactly do you mean by trying RTS? If the expansion pack is gonna be charged it would be so by now, and I've tried booting the game with RTS enabled and disabled, as well as patched and quick run, but still no dice.

    The M3DS Real pretends that none of the saves that I made while playing FE:SS exist. It always just presents new game only. Is there a certain set up I'm supposed to use in order to make it recognize them? I'm using 3.6 firmware and a Kingston 4GB microsd.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
