    Follow up: I took it to someone with correct tools. It was a capacitor, after cleaning it, it starts up but now get the following error code: 2134-0501 Can't seem to find any details about this error code.

    Thanks, the pin on the cpu definitely looks suspiciously broken off. I think the the parts where the work was done is just messy, there was a lot of thermal paste covering the pins which i washed of as best I could.

    We just tried installing a hwfly chip onto my v1 switch. Upon switching it on the led immediately went red. We removed the solder and put the switch back to the default state but now when I power on I get a high pitched whine noise and the switch fails to start. Any ideas what could be wrong and...
