    Has anyone else been experiencing random crashing? I played the game up to the cave where you find tellah and in the middle of a battle it just froze. I'm using an R4DS with the latest firmware and my microsd card runs everyother game perfect. could it be the patch?

    Yah, do you use any kind of DS rom organizer that might trim roms automatically? Trimming is when the program cuts all the dead space that isn't used on a rom. Just redownload FFIV and just place it in the same folder as the translator program, and run the program and it should create a...

    just take the patched.nds file/rom and put it on your flashcard, and it should work. and make sure that the rom you're trying to patch isn't trimmed, that was my mistake, i was trying to patch a trimmed version and it wouldn't work.

    This is awesome, thanks guys. But one little problem, when I go to patch the rom, the newly made nds rom "patched.nds" is 0 KB, then the original FFIV.nds rom is renamed to original.nds and is the same size as the original rom, and the original.nds is not translated over to english. any ideas...
