Those new Wiis with 4 layer boards don't get hot enough to kill the caps. The fact it's outputting nothing at all is very concerning, even if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were missing it would still at least output a black screen. No output means the Wii... -

I did try to plug the Wii into a different TV (HD TV) to see if I got anything, and I also tried a different CRT, but again nothing.

Black consoles were too new to install bootmii boot2. Which in your case is both good and bad. The good news is that if the console were shutdown mid-bootmii installation, it would have been installing as IOS (not boot2), so this should not cause...
