    Thanks for the help guys! I finally got it working correctly by doing the FBI/Remove files, then re-add new versions. There was a good video on YouTube that seemed to have the answers I was looking for.

    I did flash the CIA on BOTH Sys and Emu with BigBlue... Does that part matter (i.e. not using FBI)? As well, I'm positive that I flashed the right one.. I.e. o3ds as I have a 1st gen, blue 3DS XL. I'm sorta starting to remember that it may have very well been one of my attempts to "update"...
