Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

The email address was actually [email protected] but thanks for letting me know there is a newer one that may be less brickable. Here's a few questions... In the instructions for the install at http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=196898 It says "Just be sure to install cIOSCORP v3.6...

Yes loading via Disc... OK, I emailed [email protected] and they sent me the file link which I assume is the latest 3.5 version. I downloaded and have __MACOSX folder which I know I don't need and then an apps and a cioscorp folder. The apps folder has corpinstaller inside, do I just put that...

Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

I love the fact that this patch worked so well... I hate the fact that I can't play any .pal ISO's or really much anything newer like Beatles RB, Guitar Hero 5... My friend has a wii that was modded in it's original form and his plays everything. I don't have a clue how to update my cIOS, don't...

My friend gave me a WBFS drive full of stuff... the only problem is NeoGamma doesn't want to load it when I select "USB". Is there an APP that came installed with this mod that can handle that or something someone can recommend?

One question... Does this modification allow for PAL ISO's to be played on it? I need to know so I don't waste time downloading them...

OK, I've enabled the following: Replace Health Screen with Backmenu Auto-Press A at Health Screen Block Disc Updates Block Online Updates Some of the others I'm not too sure of is there a guide that explains what each one does in a little more detail?

This was a question I had before regarding that... I had heard that the disc updates were OK cause they were needed for some discs to run, but otherwise don't install direct Nintendo updates via the wii? So, if installing disc and wii updates is not a good idea how can you make sure your system...

OK, that may be it... I extracted it and didn't have it like that. UPDATE: I downloaded a better Softchip that included the other 2 files, and got both it and NeoGamma working from Homebrew Channel! Thanks a bunch for the help eZ!

Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

I wish I could say that worked, but... the thing is ok when I see the homebrew channel in the original wii menu, I can scroll + or - and go through, but once I click Homebrew Channel and then click START it has a screen with the titledeleter, loader, restorer and wad manager... nothing I push...

Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

My homebrew channel is showing the titledeleter, priiloader, restorer, and wad manager... and no other options to explore. I see a little gecko in the corner (not light up) and a light up earth. Pressing Home just goes back, no option to execute softchip or neogamma...

OK, I have both Softchip and NeoGamma in my apps folder, and have no clue how to run them. I thought I did this though bootmii or the sd card... nothing is happening. Homebrew channel is useless once you're done modding, I was expecting to find Softchip and NeoGamma from within there...

I'm sure it probably is, but just thought it was odd that error came up.
