    No you dont need to uninstall it (meaning the full game). Run the haxchii installer again from the HBL. And yes, kill the fw.img line. No update as of now, but if you have update protection in place that's a non-issue...you can go online all you want and still play everything available.

    As above user stated, you don't need any fw.img. Set default=sysmenu in the config file and reinstall haxchii. When launching it will do it's thing and return you to the system menu with the sigpatches applied.

    Im not an expert on this, but why are you having it boot fw.img? Are you trying to initialize the patches? If so set boot to sysmenu. Do you even have a fw.img on your sd card? And you have to reinstall haxchii for config changes to take effect, it doesn't just change automatically.
