    All the games I've come across use Kana exclusively, even dictionaries like The usual suspects like Kanji learning games and dictionaries don't use any Kanji at all in their headers, so I'm wondering if there are any ROMs at all that have Kanji in their descriptions.

    Gaming DS VC are coming to 3DS.

    Seems like it stores data on the internal DSiWare NAND rather than the SD card, which makes this the same as the Advanced Wars CIA. It's useful to have a second example, but I don't think any DS injections will come out of this rather quickly. DSiWare-mode applications don't load from the SD card.
