    Got the switch from the seller today, went in and checked and the serial number was low like promised. XAJ700_ series. I'll get to the modding later, but I can say that ebay seller, nippon_mix delivered just fine at $130 for the console only, with fast turnaround and high quality.

    I don't have a horse in the race, as the NS2 is waaaaay outside my affordability, but doesn't Right To Repair make it illegal for them to punish you for modifications to the console? I'm not a lawyer, that is just my layman's interpretation of things, so I could be completely off base.
