    put the update files same place as the other files you dragged to your micro sd card read the read me file ones for the dsl and the other is for the dsi and xl after you have ran the update file you can update your 3ds to 3.0.6 and the card will still work

    OK i just tried a different micro sd card and it updated fine both sd cards are non branded both 8gb but ones class 4 (one that worked) and a class 6 (didnt work) very strange oh well im good to go :)

    Mine won't update as well on my 3ds 2.1.0.4 e and also on a ds xl 1.4.1 :( Just press start and nothing happens I updated the acekard last Thursday to play on the 2.1.0.4 But can't update to the latest the cards a hw8181

    Did it have a hologram stick on the back? If so go check out if it isn't a fake on there website Then if it's ok download the lastest kernels put them on your card then load you card and go into the setting and update from there

    Thanks guy Will my acekard 2i work with 2.2.?E I've updated my acekard 2i and it's working on my 3ds with the firmware 1.0.0E I just dont want to update my 3ds to 2.2.?if my acekard 2i won't won't on it Many thanks

    They even cal there old acekards 2i clones they might just be old stock I brought one from china new acekard stock then I ordered one from the uk it came with the old chip on the front runs fine and updateed no problems There still might be a chance you get what you paid for

    its spring loaded try pushing it in right to the bottom my one from wii-chip took 8 days to be delivered
