    Hi, I have disc version EDM-010 with 3 beeps when I plugged in the power cable. Tried to clear the error log via UART but no success. After programming the bios with another dump the beeps stop but console wont turn on. I think the SB not started. Tried to replace the SB but same situation...

    Yes, alert only for bank 5, nothing for 2. After I replaced bank 5 nothing changed, then replaced 5 and 2 with chips from another console and all work fine again. I don't think this crack on APU is a problem.

    Yes, the problem is probably with some of the nand chips and specially with some that contains unique information for the console. You can try to replace the 3 that not contain this information but I don't think you will fix this console.

    Little update from me again. The other console that have with same error - EDM-30 - same string but can't fix it. I tried everything - replaced SSD controller twice, replaced the RAM chip on SSD controller, reflow all nand chips - nothing worked...

    Today I managed to fix a PS5 console with this error simply by reflowing the SSD controller. After that I had to reinstall the software, but for now everything works. These days I will try on the other one PS5, where I directly changed the SSD controller to replace it with a 100% working chip...

    I'm pretty sure the problem is in the memory nand chips. Someone of them. I was wondering is there any method to test this chips - some kind or programmer that you can put the chip on it and connect to PC to test the memory?

    Hi, you don't need to reflash the BIOS - just connect UART and clear the error codes.
