ROM Hack Rudolph's Patch&Topic here!
Is there anyone for whom Rudolph's patch has worked well but not perfectly, i.e. they finally get a freeze after a couple of hours? That seems to be the case for me (DSTT, TTMenu v1.17). I patched a clean HG and a clean SS with Rudolph's Patch and I got my first freeze after 3-4 hours on both...- catbirdy

Terribly sorry to revive a months-old thread, but I'm having almost the exact same problem as the OP, i.e. game freeze after entering the Underground in Platinum.
