    Like everyone else is saying, give Arp Poisoning a go. It basically allows you to re-route traffic from your 3ds through your pc (assuming your PC and 3ds are connected to the same network), though you'll probably have to fiddle about with the software (like Cain & Abel) until you get it working.

    The guy mentioned in his video that he was having trouble locating the outgoing packet using his method and that he had only extracted incoming Pokemon that way. It may be that with the virtual hotspot set-up you can't sniff the outgoing Pokemon. At any rate I wouldn't fuss too much over it...
