    Thanks for all the responses. It is a .raw file and it is in the saves folder. I double checked that I got the game ID correct and it is.     Can anyone help? I had a 100% save file on my real GameCube so I downloaded a 100% file for Nintendont. I know the file works, but when I renamed the save file to the game id (GSNP)it doesn't work when I load the game up.
