    Yeah, day 1 update + Express seems like the obvious choice. If I was looking for exploits, I'd be searching 20.1.1 since you have so many more areas to attack with S1 game carts and SD Express. Realistically, I think modchips could be the only way it's exploited fully. But there aren't any...

    That's incorrect. Switch firmware has exploits up through 7.x.x called Caffeine (only developed up through 4.10 and theoretical to 7.x.x iirc) but almost all of the vulnerable Switches were early units with the RCM exploit already so it didn't matter and then mod chips were developed for patched...

    What's the best SNES core? Snes9x 2010 has audio stuttering and regular Snes9x occasionally will get visual stutter when the screen is scrolling. Haven't tried the others. This is while playing FFIII btw.

    You can make a directory anywhere. I used zipped roms. Make sure they're from a NoIntro set or RA won't import them into the collection.

    I figured out the Playstation bios issue. I downloaded the proper scph550X.bin files (correct md5s) and they go in /retroarch/cores. DO NOT put them in /retroarch/cores/system.

    I though the recommended settings were something you do in the UI. Know of a good text editor to use on Windows? Notepad brings it up as a garbled mess. Edit: Do I edit the main RetroArch cfg file or the mupen64 configuration settings file?

    Yes, probably. I updated from 5.1.0 - 6.2.0 yesterday and had to delete a bunch of vestigial files off my SD before it would boot.
