Gaming How to delete (save) data on SMA3: Yoshi's Island?

GOOD MAN! Just tested & confirmed with US version on Everdrive Mini

Editorial System Shock Remake Console Port Impressions

I want to warn all console players - DO NOT - buy this port yet. The day-one patch that was sent to reviewers was never pushed out to the public. That means the following things do not work: The 'healing' button The 'grenade' button Placing pins in the map (which is damn-near critical) Mouse...

Gaming How to delete (save) data on SMA3: Yoshi's Island?

I know this isn't super helpful but I know there IS a button combination for this, I did it myself about a year ago. Will trawl my bookmarks to try and find it. Pretty sure the d-pad was involved in the combo

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

Kicking myself for not harvesting the connectors from all the crap chinese batteries I've binned over the years. Somehow they were all good fits. I was hoping you'd say something like 'just yank the wires out of the old JST and push the new ones into it' lol. Soldering is a no-go for me as I...

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

This is some excellent intel - the only part I'm sketchy on is "just re-use the connector" ... I'd need to see a demo of how this is done, because I'm stupid and any time I attempt electrical work without instructions I destroy something

R4 (Upgraded Revolution) for GBA SP

Whoops, I've got it mixed up with the EZflash-V ; just found mine in a drawer. Weird illogical hardware playing tricks on decade-old memories. My bad. The Supercard (or later, R4) would copy a single GBA ROM into the Ezflash and then reboot in GBA mode. That's what my addled brain was trying to...

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

Will do! Might offer a wee discount for anyone that can find me an undamaged faceplate. I've got the OG black one but it's a little beat up

R4 (Upgraded Revolution) for GBA SP

I've got one of these. It is an expansion for the early "Supercard" flashcart for DS. It allowed you to boot gba mode software from the Slot-1 It has no functionality without a Supercard that I'm aware of. R4 didn't have their own slot-1 card when they released this iirc

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

Their toolkits are lovely, as are their guides, but they seem to have abandoned retro systems entirely. I imagine it's not a steady earner. Annoyingly they don't have a battery for the Dualsense Edge either (the Pro PS5 controller). I physically require the rear paddles to play, but I can't...

    Looking for the good stuff

I had a mini-stroke some years back, and was absent from the site for the following years. Thus I can't even recall the username 😂 so it seems like a bit of a stretch! It's OK, I'll work my way back to the magic forum eventually 🌈

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

The heads-up is much appreciated, thankfully Mahko had warned me about this in a YT comment. Since I can't access the marketplace here, I'll be putting any spares on eBay at cost price so I'll effectively just be splitting the shipping bill.

    Is CDKeys legit?

I've bought PSN codes for years from CDkeys, literally hundreds, and never had any issues. I use PayPal just to be safe. For Steam codes I use Kinguin, they're an intermediary that finds you the cheapest seller of any given game. I've heard tales of keys occasionally being revoked but it's...

    Looking for the good stuff

I would assume the trading section of this forum, but it's locked to us lowly newbies (annoyingly I got locked out of my old account due to dead email provider) ... Stick around here and try to help people out, eventually they'll open the golden gates for you 😎

Value of some handhelds (plus accessories?)

I literally just sold my Vita for £120 on eBay. Listed as BIN and it was sold in seconds. It did have the OG charger and was scratch-free Anecdotal: 3DS prices have gone crazy high in the UK and continue to rise. Have a look on webuy.com for the going rates

GBA Micro Batteries (in the UK)

In case anyone's researching the same thing, these were the results: All of the batteries on eBay were garbage. Like on-par with a 15 year old OEM at best. Retrogamerepairshop.com are based in the US but they do ship to the UK and they have Mahko batteries in stock (750mah, can get you 10...
