    You have to use Terminal, which as you said you dont know about, and its not simple to pick up. I would suggest finding a windows machine or preferably dual booting XP onto your mac (im assuming its Intel based?). Good luck

    Had a good search through google and here, and only managed to find a patch for the older firmwares to make an English firmware run on a Chinese R4. Anyone shed some light if there is one? Since Summon Night requires 1.18 or i wouldnt be as bothered about updating it ...

    Whats the problem with games that only support buttons? Surely if they support both a stylus and the buttons it makes more people happier, such as Animal Crossing. At times i prefer to use the stylus to do things, othertimes the buttons. Having more choice is better than restricting it.

    Finally they are releasing a true DS version of the Battle Network series of Megaman ... but with it being the Battle Series and without Megaman. Can't see it being that good myself.
