i think for a full 'safe' disable you need to pull some pins to low as well as switch vcc/gnd, so i guess its just that- bobmcbob

NinjaPass X9 Review
that review is terrible. I have X9 and I do not personally like it, but that review is just awful. Castlevania DoS intro plays fine on the kingston card you said you tested in your review.
