So I'm thinking about system transferring from hyperbanned o3ds to black friday n3ds, since you guys are saying it's safe.
So far I've:
-Unlinked NNID by using the modified arm9loaderhax.bin file and pressing X+Y in NNID settings. (I also injected a blank nnidsave.bin for good measure)
-Edited...
For the people who did this successfully: is there a way to restore the movable.sed file of the target 3ds after system transferring? I don't like the idea of having a movable.sed file from my banned 3ds on my target 3ds.
Well no, (I have a stock n3ds, but that doesn't really count) but I stopped using that arm9loaderhax.bin file after people said it was unsafe to use, so shouldn't the ID not be the same now, since it was the patch that was spoofing the Device ID?
Would this still work if I unlinked my NNID from my banned 3ds by using that method where you downloaded an arm9loaderhax.bin file that spoofed your device to have a different device ID, and unlinked your NNID by pressing X+Y in System Settings...
How is v0 impossible for cia though?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't v0 just mean it's a cartridge dump? How does that make v0 incompatible with a .cia file?
How would they know they're illegal if the games are officially released now though.
Like, there's no way to distinguish a cart dump from an official cartridge now.
I don't care if people get the freeshop version or not, but I don't get why you're saying they can detect if it's illegal.
It...
I have no idea what you're even trying to argue here.
From skimming through the thread, it looks like he's arguing that playing with lurantis's dump right now is safe, and I'm inclined to agree.
Nintendo being able to detect the difference between a cart dump and an eshop cia doesn't change...
