    I remove my rest buttons along with the USB port after flashing the software onto the chip. I also install a volume up strap so I can boot the chip into uf2 mode without a rest button if I need to.     I have a vol + strap and used it to access the drive via usb to pc. I copied over part 1. The drive disappeared but this time it didn't come back. I reboot my switch and now my trinket is solid red with a smaller pulsing red. I tried resetting it, but it cant be accessed for its part 2 file

    I just found a capacitor that is missing. I guess it broke off in the ultrasonic cleaner or during an acid brush + IPA scrubbing. Now I just need to find a replacement for it. It's the one circled in red.

    I tried a known working cartrige reader as well, checked all the pins and connectors through a microscope and they all look good. Still no touch.

    Ok, so the new digitizer game in and I replaced it carefully, still no touchscreen. What are the circuits that deal with the touch screen?

    Thanks for the reply. How do I test them? Like a capacitor? I see they each have 4 contact points. Where should I put my probes and am I testing for continuity to ground?

    Quick update. I picked up an ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freight. Cleaned the board with an 80% distilled water 20% 91% isp alcohol mixture for 8 minutes with heater on. Pulled the board out, sprayed it with alcohol and brushed it. Blasted with conpressed air and let it sit until it was bone...
