But there is still one thing I am unsure of...So I install CFW to the sd card at the console slot and then switch back the R4 to D mode load DS games in the sd card there, will the console now be able to play 3DS games from the sd card AND have the option to play the DS...

    Thank you so much.for the details. So after everything is done, ideally I would have a 32gb card in the console with all the firmware and cia files/game in there. And what do I do with the R4 with sd card ? Can I simply insert it to play old DS games (switch back to D mode) ?
