    You're running into the same problem a lot of us are when trying to load a new villager after evicting one. For now you should restore to your latest backup.     Thanks for the help, Lupe. This is happening to me as well, despite following your steps. Not sure why this is so finicky at the moment, with different folks getting different results. Hopefully NHSE can implement a fully working villager swap feature soon.
