    Yeah I cleaned it with 90% alcohol still no go I bought it on eBay months ago and never checked the cart slot and the seller advertised in good condition with no issues I will try to find a place to fix it replace the cartridge slot thank you everyone that help me.

    I apologize I will word it differently from now on. I haven’t tried that yet I doubt that’s what it is but I’m going to try it now anyways to rule it out and report back. Yeah it still freezes it must be the cartridge slot I have never tried it before because I bought a ton of digital games...

    So I put my 3ds compatible flash cart in my 3ds and it freezes every time I put it in. I then tried all my games I own and they all freeze the console. It sounds like my cartridge slot is gone, how big of a repair is that and does anyone know where to get it done?

    Mine has issues and I would like to replace it but I’m not sure if GameStop online or eBay would be the best but eBay has tons of counterfeit controllers
