    When you search for 5C7B6 you can type what you want right away. The offset is 5C7B0 and the byte is column 6, hence 5C7B6. If the bytes you need to change are in a range from, say, 5C7B2-5C7B6, you change each byte under the columns 2 through 6.

    New problem. None of the expansions I've bought have taken hold in the house. It still has the full size house exterior but the same 4x4 interior size as the starting home. I have a feeling I need to change the house size back to normal for it to work.

    I successfully got the house to upgrade in size. However, the interior remains the same as the first house and Nook still allows me to upgrade. I'm not sure where to go from here. Am I just going to have to go forth with the upgrades and buy them all?

    What offset is the house size? I've been using the values in the Google doc and it doesn't seem to match up with what you're saying. It could be wrong. For example, the doc says that the modern house is 08 while you say its 03. That could also explain why my game crashed as 08 might not even be...

    I did some further testing with bytes and values. What I've found is the game will crash (at least mine does) when trying to jump straight to 07 house size.     Make sure you have a backup save file just in case, as you always should. Save and Quit. Reload the game, it should all be working again.

    This is the new waterfall location at X:1,Y:1. This is a different acre than what I had yesterday so it confirms that this glitch happens regardless of the river start. This is the original waterfall in its original spawn at X:1,Y:3. Just some pictures to show exactly what's going on.
