First off, thanks for the information. It is generous of you to set the record straight as straight info is hard to find on the net. Nevertheless, there was no need to flip out on anything I wrote. Take your meds before posting. rxTools might be better, I have no idea. All I can say is that I used GW (and I still have it). I managed to set up cfw and get everything working on my 3ds. However, it did not work on my 2ds nor did the cfw I set up work on a 3ds. It was also not compatible with...- bagobeano

why are you looking at only those two options? I had a gateway and now have a sky3ds. sky3ds is much more convenient. Every single 3ds backup i throw at it (as long as it is the same region as the 3ds) works first time without the hassle of going through the re-exploit every time i forget to...- bagobeano
