Thanks guys for the help.
It is a DS lite because you have to flip the power switch back and forth as it doesn't have a button for power.
I have confirmed a real game cart works and boots fine, but when I try the 3 different flashcarts I have I get the white menu of no ds game inserted or cart...
I have currently a white DS lite and a DSi XL that reads my original R4 and 2 different Acekard2i's just fine, so I thought what the hell, I was gonna give my cousin 1 of the Acekards for a Christmas. Well his is a red refurbished DS lite from gamestop and it won't read any of the 3 flash carts...
I just received 2 acekard2i's from realhotstuff.com
I have access to 1 ds lite and 1 dsi XL. Can someone tell me how to get started? The guide has no pictures on first page.
Thanks guys for all the input.
I'm just gonna make the entire thing FAT32, so it's easy and then keep the bootable files/emulator crap on SD card. I don't need any movies or HD on the drive because I have a WDTV and a few 3 TB externals sitting around.
Since they dropped to $129 I been buying...
Thank you. FAT32 it will be :)
I just got my wii last night and it was already sold too me with HBC and 320 GB External with ability to launch backups, but that is not enough for me.
I'm gonna copy everything over and hope it all works :)
Should I create 2 partitions ( 1 huge NTFS and 30 GB FAT32) and just strictly use the HDD to boot/play
OR
should I make the entire thing NTFS and create all the boot stuff on a SD card?
I mainly wanna play wii games, but wanna play some emulators like NES, SNES, N64, Genesis etc.
Thanks for everyones hard work and imput. Because of this project my son and I are enjoying alot more DS games rather than playing them defaulted without cheats.
Thank you Thank you all so much
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
