    You was exactly right, sorry for not responding sooner, but that was the case, my 2ds for some reason had always put a weird amount of pressure on the bottom screen, I think it's why it broke initially

    I pulled apart my ds, and my inputs only work when I use godmode9, or the luma settings. I think I may have clicked a setting in luma without realizing it, but all the buttons work tmk. Any help is appreciated

    Thanks that very well could solve my issue, and I mentioned it earlier, I just don't have a hot spot, it would be too much of a stretch to see if my teacher has one. Worst case I'll just ask one of my friends if push comes to shove.
