Homebrew Tutorial It is now possible to use 2 Wii U GamePads in Wii U games!

Glad to report the new plugin used for this guide, Dual U is now officially out of beta! V1.0 has released which adds more performance options like the gamepads receiving every second frame. Changes since last time: - Motion Controls (either mirroring GamePad 1 or doing the Splatoon battle...

Homebrew Tutorial It is now possible to use 2 Wii U GamePads in Wii U games!

UPDATE: I believe a recent Aroma update makes this obsolete? Something about beta 26 and plugins must be compiled on that version. However, there is a new, safer alternative in beta called Dual U (fair warning: still extremely buggy and in beta, and slows down the console a lot)...

Nope Vague just left unfortunately and I had a hard demotivation so I barely know how to do it anymore It’s unfortunate since there were some unfinished mods like Mario Sluggers and whatever The last we know is Felix tried to reach out in GitHub about the whole documentation thing but never...

    Hacking New Classic Controller Hacks

I think we got decently far but it was never completed. The problem is there’s some issues with the nunchuk in menus I believe I’ll try and find it 1764739424

They’re actually did say that would be a cool idea to try. No guarantees though since ultimately development is development after all.

    Hacking Hacking the WiiU gamepad

This is an odd question but do you know if the GamePad’s network capability has IPv6 support? I would assume it probably has IPv4 support since that’s more common and you showed it was able to connect to a network, but any idea for the IPv6 side of things?

Hardware Be careful with third party cables. Friend was just banned for using a USB C to HDMI Cable. It was flashed with a custom FW to work with the Switch 2.

Ya I think it’s already been revealed earlier this IS misinformation the cable did not cause it. This conversation is just about the flashing part now it seems. 1755364764 I’ll just leave it to whoever now I guess. Just wanted to clarify

(I just mean this with clarifying intent) I believe the reason any firmware was flashed to the cable is so it can properly communicate with the switch 2. The dock isn’t as simple as just a USB C to HDMI hub thingy, it also has firmware (I think?) so it can properly communicate with the console...

Normal behavior, This happens with some codes. For some reason sometimes the IR emulation won’t work properly with the codes in dolphin Instead map your controller right stick to the actual IR sensor for dolphin to work around this

Octopath Traveler 0 will be a Game-Key Card only release for Switch 2, no upgrade for Switch release

This rubs me in the wrong way, I’m not exactly sure why though

    Hacking Hacking the WiiU gamepad

I actually do own some VC games from the 3DS / Wii U shop so it could be fun to try, but if you ever do, Consider do whatever is easiest to work on / you want to do more Of course it’s ultimately your development choices but starting with a simpler one could be a solid start.

Thanks for the report! This thread has definitely been proven as misinformation even if unintentionally. IMO it should be closed / deleted

I tried one of those 8bitdo adapters and haven’t gotten banned for plugging it in. Sadly doesn’t seem to work with the switch 2 at the moment though for input but no ban LOL 1752433727 Well @TehLexinator there are just too many variables at the moment and we heavily doubt it was the cable...
