Mine didn’t have leaking caps but I’ve done a lot of 600’s and other 1200’s with leaking caps, very common issue and can make a mess of the motherboard. It’s mainly the 500+ with battery issues or an expansion with a battery.
If you are in the UK, I can recommend a few people. I don’t do them...
It’s the Vita side that’s the issue, I’ve looked more into it, the switch has the same problem too. PC and android emulators have no issues, I run a 120gb hdf on windows uae which is cloned from my real Amiga 1200’s hard drive. Looks like I’ll have to stick to adf’s
I wanted to install Amiga Game Selector, the developer says the vita can’t handle files over 2gb, is this the vita it’s self or the memory card? Would SD2Vita over come this?
Thanks
Thanks for the reply. Nothing seemed to go to plan like it did when installing cfw on other consoles. I’m only using it for emulation for the time being, which brings me next question, new topic started as this issue has been resolved.
Installing CFW was easy, Its everything afterwards :( Its finally showing after much faffing but now im getting this

Ive finally managed in, what a nightmare
Sorry for another post about this annoying Vita.
I’m trying to install vita shell. Followed loads of guides but I’m getting nowhere fast😩
I’m using psvimgtools and QCMA. QCMA is recognising the PSV is connected and so is the easy installer, files are being created but the psv file manager isn’t...
I have a PSV on 3.65, it has no psn account on it and can't seem to be able add one. I have no idea what to do next. Could anyone suggest anything please?
Thanks
EDIT
Sorted it, I had to use 'Generate or Manage Device Setup Passwords'
I’ve got a water damaged switch, only slight amount of water too. There is no 3.7v to the M92, not had this before so I’m not quite sure where to start, could anyone be kind enough to shed any light on this please?
Thanks
Got a strange one here, switch lite not reading games or detecting anything being plugged into the headphone jack.
I’ve replaced the reader and headphone socket, the FPC connector is fine, I’m a little puzzled 🤔 does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Got a strange joycon today. Non of the buttons work. Connects ok, side leds work, joystick works. No signs of spillage. Anyone have any idea before it goes in my scrap box?
