    This wouldn't shock me since FunnyPlaying already has an aftermarket GBA motherboard and the FPGBC. It's the next logical step. It's also something I'd be more than willing to buy since the GBA is my second favorite handheld behind the 3DS.

    I would wonder if the problem isn't with the SD card, particularly if it's an old card. You should probably assume that's the case, and use Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier to back up the SD card to your harddrive. It's a error checking copy program. You can then use this program to test your SD card.
