Yes, my card is FAT32 formatted and I had this happen to all my installed games after using NXDumpTool, so there is some explanation we’re missing. I don’t think it’s corruption in my case anyway, as reinstalling a game will fix it every time.
I don’t know if it could be related, but I was using nxdumptool for a few titles before the problem occurred. I don’t think it should be the cause but thought I’d mention it in case someone else may have had this occur after using it.

The suggestion from Jayro (as far as I understood it) was to use Tinfoil to link a fake Nintendo Account. I tried linking fake accounts for all my profiles using Linkalho, but it didn’t work. Am I supposed to link a fake account with Tinfoil as well as Linkalho together? Thanks.
Just tried it. Now after the “Checking whether this software can be played” message comes up, it says a Nintendo Account is required, and the games don’t run. It’s a weird one.
My games are all installed via Tinfoil. Do you mean reinstall them? By fake sign in, do you mean Fake Link Nintendo Online Account? Most of the games I’m trying to launch don’t require a linked Nintendo Account. Thanks.
EDIT: Looks like NXDUMPTOOL might possibly be the cause of this, although I still don’t know how it would stop other games from working (ones it wasn’t used to dump), or how to go about repairing the issue.
Weird behaviour I've not been able to find the root cause of. Updating/replacing...
I've also gone ahead and tried HID to VPAD, unsuccessfully.
Once I've mapped the keyboard to a device (I've tried the GamePad as well as a Wii U Wireless Pro Controller), and tested the buttons, I click + to apply the patches. Then when I try to run Retroarch via the forwarder in the Wii U...
Thanks. I gave that a go, but the Device Index options in the Input settings are still only Gamepad or Disabled. It’s set to Disabled by default, and if I try to set it to Gamepad then Retroarch crashes. I really think I need some help getting the keyboard to be selectable from the Device Index...
After searching further, it does seem to be that a keyboard should show up in some form in the device list while it's connected, and that is not the case for me, despite the keyboard actually working when navigating the Retroarch menu.
I've tried also plugging in a wired USB keyboard, and I get...
Hi,
I'm using a wireless Logitech keyboard with a USB dongle plugged into the front of my Wii U.
I have a very recently downloaded Retroarch (days old at most, from the nightlies) installed directly on my Wii U via SD card.
When in Retroarch, I can navigate menus using the keyboard, and when I...
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
