    It doesn't matter.

Not sure if you know, but you can change cores without going back to the homebrew launcher.

Yeah this is the same boat I am in. I do mean the MrBoom core, as it is clearly bomberman. It really doesn't matter what core you load. I wouldn't get rid of the main retroarch thing, but you can try it, worst case you just need to replace it. The reason we are saying to use the RPX versions is...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Alright, try this: http://www.retroarch.com/index.php?page=platforms Download the Wii U RPX version from HERE and replace ALL Retroarch folders (except configs and saves if you have any) with THIS VERSION. Then, when you launch it using Homebrew Launcher 1.4, make sure to launch the bomberman...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I actually suggest deleting the entire retroarch folder, and all of the retroarch stuff in the wiiu/apps folder, and replacing all of it. Save whatever configs or savegames you need, you shouldn't need to touch your roms.

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Here is my setup as such: I use Haxchi (because I am on 5.5.2, replace this with Loadiine if you wish) to boot into Homebrew Launcher 1.4 (There is 0 reason not to use 1.4 AFAIK) I strongly suggest you use the RPX version of RetroArch, as many of the ELFs won't boot at all due to their size...

Lol, it's the least you can do for hacking their console, kappa.

    Homebrew vWii Homebrew Channel freezes

Perhaps there is intermittent power causing the system to continually mount and unexpectedly unmount the volume, or something to that effect. Is it just games on the drive for USB Loader GX? The Homebrew Channel has some difficulties with SOME USB devices, mostly flash drives, even on a real...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I'm having a new issue with RetroArch on Homebrew Launcher Channel v2.1 with Haxchi, System Menu 5.5.2 and RetroArch version 1.64. The program boots up normally through either the main program, or by individually launching one of the cores. When launching the main program, it crashes whenever I...

    Hacking Webhack on 5.5.2 (JsTypeHax)

I do agree, but they can somewhat be lumped into the same category, as most Wii homebrew will work on vWii. Maybe it's time for a good SRB2 port onto the Wii U. The one on the Wii was very half baked, and it's honestly a great game. I might look into it.

    Hacking Webhack on 5.5.2 (JsTypeHax)

Excited to see a truly watertight and reliable browser hack. Maybe then Nintendo will just forget about patching homebrew for a console they have long since abandoned. Either way, there is little excuse for people to just cough up 7 bucks and run Haxchi. I've learned my lesson for future Wii U...

    Hacking Webhack on 5.5.2 (JsTypeHax)

Thank you so much, friend. It didn't work first go, but it worked after a few tries. I tried both http://u.drg.li/ and http://cg.stupiid.ovh/, and the first link worked. I used the big Exploit button on my 5.5.2U Wii U and got Haxchii installed. Many thanks, you fixed my serious mistake I made...
