    I would say to try powering it on without the USB and then first try to either get into the BIOS or see if it boots into whatever OS is already on the SSD/HDD, if any

    ESC and delete, too. Though it would most likely show you the BIOS splash screen (laptop logo or text about the BIOS version) without even pressing anything, so if you're not seeing that, then there's either an issue with the laptop not POSTing properly

    @Xdqwerty a VM isn't to hard to setup, I suggest Oracle VirtualBox
