Getting the music was not my original aim. Having it in full quality is nice though. I rather want the sounds for personal use (and fun), but I have few time to work on it. Maybe someone could send me the JailInit.aaf from Zelda and I could try it out. Mario comes with an Info, Seqs, SpkRes folder containing that data I think, but in another format. Using vgmstream I was able to extract all 75 *.ast-Files which contained all in-game music. Now I still need the sounds which I was first looking for. Sorry this is kinda off-topic but your file-extension-analysis matches what I'm currently doing (extracting music and sounds off the game). So what to do with *.aw-Files (as found in the AudiRes/Stream-Folder).- Alimdoener

Sorry to push that old topic again, but I'm trying to extract the Mario Galaxy sounds. Firstly I used WiiScrubber to extract the *.iso-file. Now there are a lot of *.arc-Files, I tried extracting them with FreeArc, but they seem to be no orginary *.arc-Archives. Sooo...could someone PM me the...- Alimdoener
